For those facilities using an integrated payment processor, you have the option to enable your customers to pay for pending reservations.
To set up pending deposits, simply follow these steps:
- Navigate to your settings
- Go to pending booking options
- Add a “New Pending Reason” or edit an already existing pending option
- Enable online deposit payments > Yes
- Select the minimum payment amount: your options include

- full amount of balance:
- any amount (up to a full amount)
- full amount or fixed amount(enters clicks Comanche below)
- full amount or fixed percentage (enter a fixed percentage below)
- fixed amount (enter a fixed amount below)
- fixed percentage(enter fixed percentage below)
- Optional: accept online tips and choose how tips should be recorded
- Save
When accepting a reservation request or when creating a reservation, ensure to set the reservation as pending and select the pending option which automatically prompts a deposit. Once the client receives their e-mail informing that their reservation is pending a deposit, the client can login to their customer portal using the button included in the pending booking email. This will take them directly to the reservation summary, where they can process the payment by clicking on “Make Payment”.
The payment amount will depend on the pending value you have selected.
You will receive a notification of payment on your main dashboard. You will also see a notice in the pending bookings list to let you know the deposit was received.
Upon confirmation of the deposit payment, make sure to book the order as CONFIRMED. This is mandatory in order for the pet to appear on your dashboard to check in on the day of service.
