How to set up Fixed Price Classes:
Fixed Price Classes are an excellent option for those unique courses you only offer occasionally. This can be a single day seminar or a set of dates that the customer pays in one lump sum.
To set up the Fixed Price group class, simply follow these steps:
- Settings
- Pricing
- Group Classes
- New Class
Once you are on the New Training Class page, you can add the details to customize the class.
Class Name and Date:
-
- Select whether you want the group class published or not, add the class name, and a description (optional).
- Select your Class Type: Make sure to select “Fixed Price” from the drop down menu.
- Fill in any specifications that apply to this class
This can include a location, min or max number of pets, a specific cut off date or max number of days in advance to sign up for the class, and a minimum number of days in advance (so no one signs up too early). These are all optional settings designed to give your customer more information and you more control. - Select the trainer(s) assigned to the group class. This class will then be reflected in the trainer’s availability.
- Select the date(s) and times by clicking on the day(s) on the calendar and selecting the times.
Tip: If you are scheduling the same days every week, select “schedule recurring classes”, add the start and end dates of the class, the repeat method and choose the day(s) of the week.
- Tip: If the class occurs at the same time everyday click “apply these times to all days”
- Click Submit
- Select whether you want the group class published or not, add the class name, and a description (optional).
Fill in the pricing details
The pricing type will auto-populate with the method that matches the class type. In this case, it will pre-select “Fixed Price”.
The “Price is for how many pets” is to verify if the dollar amount applies to 1 pet or to multiple pets from the same family. If it applies to more than 1 pet, type in “1+”. If it only applies to 2 pets, type in “2”.
You have the option to add rules to limit access to this class based on Customer/Pet Status, Age, Number of pets, Pet Sex, Pet Weight, and Pet and/or Customer Colour Codes. To add a rule:
-
- Would you like to create rules? > Yes
- Select the type of rule you wish to add
- Fill in the necessary parameters for the chosen rule
- Save
- Repeat for additional rules as required.
