What is SaaS?
SaaS stands for software as a service, which means that you are paying for the services that a company provides instead of product. You are not responsible for downloading, maintaining, or updating the software. The company delivering the product that you are using is responsible for maintenance and updates as well as upholding the security standards of the software and your data. Web based software is always up to date and does not require you to install costly updates. SaaS is different from traditional software because you can access your files using any device that has an internet connection.
What is Cloud Based Software?
In very simple terms cloud based software “lives” on the internet, allowing you to access and store all of your information online as opposed to on paper or the hard drive of your computer. Cloud based software allows your pet business to operate online as all of your customer files, business functions, and administrative documents are optimized through the software itself instead of on the computer at your business. Your information is stored outside of your device, meaning that your data can never be lost to computer crashes, fire, flood, etc. Cloud based software runs all of its applications and tools using the internet. These features can be accessed anywhere as long as you have an applicable device and an internet connection.
I'm not a tech-savvy person, is your software difficult to use?

If I sign up for a demo, am I obligated to use the software?
If you contact us about the software or sign up for a demo there are NO obligations. If you love the software we would be happy to set you up, if it isn’t right for your business we understand.
Is there a setup fee?

There is no setup fee if you select a Two-Year Subscription. Setup fee for Annual Subscriptions is $50USD per module and $75 USD per module With Monthly Subscriptions. More Information

With ProPet Software, you have three choices for subscriptions; monthly, yearly, and every two-years depending on what works best for you.
Do you offer any special promotions or benefits if I sign up to use your software?
If you sign up to use ProPet Software you will receive free phone support, the first month of usage for free, opportunities to suggest new features, and more!
We also offer discounts for clients who choose 1-year or 2-year subscrition options.
Do you accept all credit cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards, e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as rewards cards except for Discover Cards.

If I do not have access to the internet can I still access ProPet?
ProPet Software is an online software, it requires a stable internet connection to ensure that your data is synchronized and backed-up instantly. Should your business lose internet access, your data is completely safe and will be available as soon as you are able to log into your account.
Can I integrate my account with a Credit Card Processor?
Yes, you can choose one of our integrated partners to accept online credit card payments. All 3 of our partners provide online payments.
Chosen Payments also provides integraed merchant terminals in addition to online for our US customers. Chosen Payments guarantees to beat your current rates or they will give you $500.

How do I set up my business account with ProPet Software?
Setting up your business account is quick and easy with our skilled staff. We provide personalized demos during which we explain how to use ProPet Software and help you set up your account. New customers areq required to schedule an Account Setup Session with a team member and are provided with User Training. We also have an online video Knowledge Base for clients.
Does each of my staff members require their own account?
Each staff member has their own individual login information, rather than their own account. As the administrator, you can control the level of access that each staff member has.
Is there a limit on the number of my clients that can use the software?
There is no limit to the amount of customers that you can have using the software.
How much storage capacity do I have access to by using cloud-based software?
Our cloud-based software solution provides virtually unlimited storage space online.
I currently use another management software. How can I get my data transferred to ProPet Software so that I can use it instead?
If you are currently using another software to manage your business, and this software allows you to export data, we can transfer your data right into ProPet Software. More information on Data Migration.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
If you are on a month-to-month plan, you are free to cancel at any time. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your monthly billing cycle. Should you be signed up for a yearly subscription, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your yearly billing cycle.
How do I set up my business account on ProPet Software?
Setting up your business account is quick and easy with our skilled staff. We provide personalized demos in which we explain how to use ProPet Software and how to set up your business account. If you wish to get your live account setup, simply contact your account representative or email info@propetware.com.

Who owns my data?
You own your data, and you always will.
Is my data secure?
Your data is extremely secure in the “cloud.” When you or your customers input data into the software, it is stored in an online space as well as in multiple physical data centres around the world. Your data is stored on servers (inside these data centres) and is automatically backed up every time you add something new. Should your computer or mobile device run into problems, simply log in to your ProPet account on another device.

Is my customer's information secure?
ProPet Software places the utmost value on security. You can rest assured that we use the most up to date industry security standards to protect the information of your clients. For more information, feel free to read our data security article.
Will I lose my data if my computer crashes?
If your computer, tablet, or phone crashes all you have to do is log into your ProPet account from another device and you will be able to access your data. Data is stored safely in the cloud, meaning that it will not get erased or compromised if your device is experiencing difficultly.
What kind of reporting does the software offer?
You can run reports on your financials, pet’s feeding and medication instructions, daily overview of operations, Agreement status, vaccination status, etc. These reports allow you to collect and view the important information that you need to run your pet business. When using the standard software, you will have access to basic reports.
