Once created, your staff member will be able to login and use this unique account to interact with ProPet. The business owner is also able keep their primary login separate from their staff’s login, while still enabling their staff to carry out their day to day duties. So if your staff gets logged out they don’t need to ask you to log them back in each time they need to access the software.

By outlining the specific services each employee is responsible for you are able to effectively manage your workload by ensuring the necessary staff are linked to the services that match their expertise. Roles

Assigning a user to a role allows you to control the permissions the user is granted within ProPet.

For example, your facility managers will have greater access than your kennel staff.

Roles allows you to passively manage access points within the software and safeguard sensitive information like transaction data and financial reporting. It also allows you to make sure your training staff aren’t distracted by boarding bookings or grooming bookings. Roles allows you to limit access which helps your staff focus on the key components of the software that are most useful to them. Rather than showing a staff member all modules, roles allows you to limit the available modules to only what is essential for each team member.

In addition to choosing what modules a staff member will have access to, roles also allows you to choose whether they’re allowed to login outside regular work hours, what types of reports they’re allowed to see, whether they’re allowed to delete customers or pets and much more.
