Add New Services to PrePaid Packages
When you need to update your PrePaid Packages to add new rates:
- Settings
- Pricing
- Prepaid Packages
- Click the package you need to update.
- Check the box beside the new rate you wish to add
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page
- You will see the following option
If you wish to have the new rates available for PAST purchased packages, set to “Yes”
If you only want the future purchased packages to have the new rate, leave as “No” - Save
Important Note:
If you are REMOVING a rate or ALTERING the number of passes per product in the prepaid package, do NOT use the ” Apply the newly selected products above to your customers’ past package purchases” as it will affect all past packages and can cause inconsistencies with available passes.
If you need to remove a rate or change the number of passes per product and this package has already been purchased, you will need to make a NEW package and archive the old one. If required for customers who have already purchased the package, you will need to edit the past packages to correct the number of passes or refund and cancel the incorrect old package and purchase the new package for the customer. This may require you to remove passes from past invoices before you can cancel the package. Once you purchase the new package, you will need to reapply the passes to past invoices. It won’t Apply the Passes!
Ever update a prepaid package and then try to apply the passes for a customer, but it won’t work? It could be because the customer purchased the package prior to the change and you have not updated the past purchased packages. To fix this, you simply need to update the setting to apply the new update to past purchased packages:
- Settings
- Pricing
- Prepaid Packages
- Click the package you need to update.
- Find the rate you recently added
- Uncheck the box and then RE-check it (otherwise, you will not see the setting to update the packages as no changes were made to trigger the setting)
- Apply the newly selected products above to your customers’ past package purchases
- Yes
- Save
If you still have issues applying the passes to a customer’s invoice, please reach out to support@propetware.com with the customer’s name, the packages that should apply the pass, and the invoice it should be applied to.
