How do I block Kennels for a date range?

Blocking Individual Kennels

Step 1:  Edit the Kennel

1. Go to Settings
2. Under Administration, select Facility Capacity
3. Below the Kennels heading, click Edit next to the kennel that you would like to block

Step 2: Block Dates

1. Select Add Dates to Block
2. Choose a Date Range
3. Provide the Reason
4. Input your Initials and click Save

Blocking Multiple Kennels

Step 1: Add Dates to Block

1. Go to Settings
2. Under Administration, select Facility Capacity
3. Below the Kennels heading, select Add Dates to Block
   
   

Step 2: Block Dates

1. Enter the Date Range you’d like to block multiple kennels
2. Provide the Reason
3. Input your Initials
4. Select the kennels you wish to block:
   •  Block by Type: You can select the different kennel types from the Block by Type drop-down, and all kennels of each type will be moved under the Blocked Kennels column
     
   • Click +Block for Each Kennel: Alternatively, you can click the +Block button for every kennel you want to block. They will be moved into the Blocked Kennels column one by one.
     
5. Click Save

Once kennels are blocked, the auto-assign function will consider the kennels as occupied. You will be able to see the blocked kennel within the Kennel View.

Unblocking Kennels

Step 1: Edit each individual kennel

1. Go to Settings
2. Under Administration, select Facility Capacity
3. Below the Kennels heading, click Edit next to the kennel you want to unblock

Step 2: Delete Blocked Dates

1. Under the Blocked Dates heading, you’ll see the current dates the kennel is blocked for
2. Click Delete to remove the block

Step 3: Repeat this Process for all Other Kennels that Need to be Unblocked
