How do I assign buddies/enemies to a pet?

Buddies and Enemy lists allow you to track dogs that get along well and those that do not.

When adding enemies and buddies to a customer’s pet, customers will not be able to see these lists – only the admin and the users will be able to view these lists.

How to add a Buddy or Enemy

There are 2 main ways to add a buddy or enemy to a pet’s profile.

Pet Profile

1. Navigate to the pet’s profile
2. Select “Pet Summary” or simply click on the image of the pet from the Customer Overview page
3. Select “Edit enemy list” or “Edit buddy list”
    
4. Type in the Buddy’s or Enemy’s name and click “Search for Buddy/Enemy”
5. Select “Add Buddy/Enemy” beside the correct dog based on their name
   

From the main dashboard when pets are checked in

1. Navigate to your main dashboard
2. Click on the paw icon on the main dashboard
   
3. From the pop up window, select either the buddies or enemies section
   
4. Type in the Buddy’s or Enemy’s name and click “Search for Buddy/Enemy”
5. Select “Add Buddy/Enemy” beside the correct dog based on their name

When creating an enemy list for a specific pet, it allows you and your staff to know where to place these pets so that they are not together if they happen to be both boarding that day.
