Google Calendar Integration

The Google Calendar Integration allows you to sync bookings from ProPet to a Google Calendar. This integration works with one Google account and does not send booking information directly to employees’ personal calendars. Instead, you can manage who can access these events from within Google.

Setting up the Google Calendar Integration

1. Enable the Integration:

  • Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Google in ProPet.
  • On the Google Integration Setup page, connect your existing Google account. Refer to the image below for guidance.

2. Create a Synchronization Job:
After connecting your Google account, you can create a synchronization job on the same page

  • In Google Calendar (under your Google account), you can set up calendar filters (e.g., Private Training, Group Classes). Under the settings of each filter, you can manage the sharing accessibility.
  • In ProPet, you can select:
    1. Events from the pre-set options (e.g., Training Reservations, Scheduled Classes, etc.).
    2. A Google Calendar for the destination of the selected events/reservations.

Once the synchronization job is active:

  • Booking information will automatically be sent to the Google Calendar when bookings are confirmed in ProPet.
  • For pre-existing bookings, click the blue-linked ‘Push existing events’ option to sync these events manually. Refer to the image below for details.

Important Notes:

  • As shown in the visual example, reservations on the Google Calendar do not display the assigned user.
  • This integration is one-way (from ProPet to Google), meaning changes made in Google Calendar will not reflect in ProPet.
